Destiny returns this Bank Holiday Weekend with a fully stocked Drum & Bass line-up set to rumble the very foundations of Bournemouth itself! After touching down at The Opera House with the one and only Valve Sound System marking an almighty return for Destiny and carving it’s way forward as an already established brand amongst the South Coast Drum & Bass collective, the brand returns to one of it’s original homes – The Old Firestation in Bournemouth on Friday 22nd August, for a massive homecoming featuring a well balanced blend of upfront Drum & Bass heavyweights and up and coming breakthrough South Coast talent across three arenas inclusive of Hype, Friction, Hazard, Mampi Swift, Taxman and many more.

On the Main Arena line-up we present DJ Hype, one of our scene’s most established providers of technical prowess, a pioneer of the Drum & Bass movement and the founder of the prolific Ganja Records. Joining him, the very best of today’s upfront artists including the continually award nominated Shogun artist DJ Friction, plus the man responsible for international anthem ‘The One’ and someone who still sticks to his Vinyl roots rigorously – Mampi Swift and a man that should need no introduction – the head of imprints Radius & R Music, Hazard. Also appearing for the first time at Destiny, Ganja’s latest signing Taxman will be touching down on the Main Stage and a guest appearance from Ram’s sister label – Frequency Recordings’ very own Basher; who will be playing an exclusive back to back with Destiny long time resident and South Coast artist Deep. In addition to this, we make way on the Main Stage for breakthrough artists the DJ Network and a back to back from Destiny residents Whitey & Vesta.

Arena Two presents a full compliment of the line-up legends and future heroes headlined by a true Drum & Bass deck technician, Movement resident Jordan V, Destiny resident and recording artist DJ Twista, Ruffride, Phase One, The Raid, Judda, Lecta back to back with Dusk, Krakota back to back with Sphere and Penfold back to back with Kryme.

Arena Three represents a hotspot for Jungle vibes and Old Skool beats as junglist representatives and Destiny regulars Dark Dean, DJ Twista, Jedi, Emotion and Natural Frequency educate the masses in some classics.

Of course the Drum & Bass scene today would not be the same without it’s MC’s and so keeping things well and truly covered across the three arenas will be a hand picked selection of ceremony masters including MC Skibadee, MC IC3, MC Fun, Evil B, MC ID, Tonn Piper, Skydro, Bensta and Felon as well as favourites Double L, Dappa, Greenie, Baker and Kombo.
