Hi ive got an annoying problem, for month's now ive been trying to record from my deck's onto my computer, with no joy, but alas ive managed to do it, it was something totally stupid and im still slaping myself now, but now another problem has risen.
the other night i had a jam, worked out a nice old 94-97 set, once i had it i began the the record, every thing was going sound, no clinks apart from the last mix .
i uploaded my mix up to a jungle forum, but i later on in the night i decided to listen to the mix and to my suprise it sounded terrable, not the mixing or the order of the track's, but the record quality, every ten seconds or so it sounded as if the record was jumping/skiping beats.
im not sure it could be because it wasnt recording it to the hardrive quick enough.
anyway im using sony sounde forge 7
ive looked on there forum's, not many post related to my problem, infact there's not many post over there slating the program, they all love it, saying it's the photoshop of music.
so that wer you guy's come in, any help will be appriciated, ill even give you a cookie

no worry's, ive found a different prog, done a mix last night, turned out alright apart from the one channel decided to only play music from one speaker
Soundforge does take up a lot of processing power, I used to record my shows using it, but I sometimes got jumpy audio on the recording and live stream.
I always use Cubase to record now, it uses less CPU believe it oe not
