‘Lucky 17’ is an upbeat dancefloor tinged liquid number. Starting with just the raw drums sprinkled with a hypnotic effected piano riff looping over the beats - more and more percussion gets thrown into the mix until a female vocal of ‘what I need’ is the cue for a for the bass to slide in. A mystical aura surrounds the tune, and as the warm rounded bassline takes flights you’re off into fantasy land. With this track KG manages to perfectly balance between his sound with enough soul for the liquid heads and enough kick for the dancefloor massive. ‘Capital Connection’ is the debut release from new talent Infectious, hailing from Oxford, England, and if this track is anything to go by he is definitely one to watch for the future. Showing maturity beyond his years with this track, characterised by a deep funky bassline, tight snappy drums and dreamy auras. This is one of those tracks which gets into your head and stays there all day long – definitely infectious!
