Idea for forum

Have you all thought about creating a sub-forum dedicated to ID'ing tunes? My thinking is to split a 1 to 3 minute cut from a track, upload it through something like MediaFire and then throw up a link in a thread so those in the know can provide track info. The reason why I ask is because I often find myself dying for tracklistings whenever listening to a really sick set, and since I live in the United States, I'm probably already at a disadvantage and am a bit ignorant to a lot of the tunes you all spin on your shows. What are yall's thoughts?

I dont think that would work with all the dj's on here, it just takes up too much time to sort all that out. Best if you go in chatroom and ask for ID while dj is playing live or if a archive is on let the dj know which archive you heard, i mean the archives where you can select and play yourself which is in the download bar.

I meant it sounds like a good idea... but like Riddima says, practicality could be a problem.... however you'd be bound to find out some tunes. I don't know if there'd be a lot of unanswered threads....

if u really need to know the ID of a tune, upload the smple and post the link here, hundreds did that before - and they always got hlped out ... i think u, too, ment not to spam that thread "id on this track, please" full all the time ...

so, just upload your sample and open a new topic for every ID u need, never wounded anyone here

I agree with the others, I think first of all the 'tune ids' forum would be quite empty so people would be less likely to look there, and you are better off contacting the DJ directly - preferably when they're live so they have the tune in front of them.
