First, i wanna say... Respect to all my DnB peeps here in the US but especially over in the UK area. Yall have a deep passion, love and understanding of this shit called DnB.

DnB is to the UK is like House is to Chicago...its your creation, the two affiliated and referenced in the history books of music... forever.

Everything in the US is sooo structured, we have a long way to go... that is tryin to get DnB the respect it deserves over here. Its a nice breath of fresh air and escape from the norm. DnB to me is one of the last "uncontaminated" forms of free music, meaning - 100% pure, the real shit, almost religious in a sense... not infiltrated and exploited by pop culture. I've been a dj since 84' being fan, student & master of many styles of music along the way. More recently DnB. From being a percussionist and B-Boy from the early breakin' dayz on... i was always a fan and big supporter of breakbeat music and also what would be considered classic DnB now - Naturally. I like to think of myself as an outcast of hip hop, juke and electro because..."I LOVE DRUM & BASS" likewise an outcast of DnB for being a fan of those other styles.

My re-interest in DnB came as i stumbled along your radio station online several months ago... To say the least, im back to stay!

Thank You for Creating a Monster!
Lets chop it up fellaz!

Hi dollamite! Very Happy

I'm not abroad (US too) and I'm a fairly new listener myself, but its already a favorite in my station rotation. In my opinion some big differences in the sound is the raggae and old hard core techno influences in there. In general the rich history leads to a totally different sound. I also love the mc'ing, the US mc'ing borders too much on rap sometimes for my tastes.

Not to say I don't love some of the US stuff too, some of my current chunes are from over here. I'm originally a trance baby (no flames please!), so I dig some of the more trancey dnb stuff. But its wonderful to hear a totally different style and I'm lovin' every minute of UK Bass!

(excuse my terminology errors or w/e)

O HAI!!!!!!!!

I too am currently residing in the "USofnocreativit-A". It saddens me to see the creative vein being destroyed with the arts taken from schools curriculum and the mainstream music flow is strictly for profit.

With the exception of a few underground outlets for those who choose a conscious lifestyle I feel ofted daunted by the innumerable sheeple grazing the land.

Since discovering UKB I have not been able to find a place I felt more at home and a place that is consistent with having somethig fresh and fun on a DAILY!

I came for the music and fam is just an unexpected BONUS!

MAD LOVE AND RESPECT and glad to meet you!
