Seems a bit unnecessary by our standards....however it is the law in the UAE....and considering peeps have gone down there for a tiny piece of weed, smaller than a grain of sand, on their shoe....would have thought Rider would have wised up. However he was complacent I guess, it ain't like flying to The Dam tho...silly but costly mistake. Good job we don't have Sharia law here lol!

I just wish we upheld our own cultural values like these countries uphold theirs.

As for the harmfulness of weed.... well it's like anything. I think it's also complacent to think it is harmless, some peeps get proper paranoid psychosis off it that lasts well past the immediate effects of the drug and many people completely loose their motivation or ability to function as a part of society. Sure there are many more dangerous things, and in the main it is a relatively harmless pastime for most tokers, but that doesn't mean there are no risks. The inhalation of all those particles into the lungs for one is a problem, oft scorned in cigarette smokers, yet equally apparent in cannabis. All said and done though, there is no real reason it should be illegal while other substances equally, or more, harmful are legal.

have to be very careful now on where you go - everywhere seems to be getting stricter by the day - in some places you can have a death sentence for what Grooverider did so in the long run hes a lucky guy otherwise he would of been a dead man walking!

YES! Exactly @ TerraAngel - no plant should be illegal as its just a plant it was around here before humanity plus it doesnt do any harm. Earths natural plant and we CANT smoke it according to the law. (Pfftt....)

and yeah Gav there are substances more dangerous then weed - alcohol is one of them as ive seen on a chart weed is a hell of alot safer then any alcohol around thats why i think alot of people are slowly moving onto weed - to which i dont blame them to be honest!

We all might aswell join Grooverider in cells because it feels where already trapped in our own prison as we cant do anything these days - no one is free!
and they talk about freedom and been able to do what you wanna do - bullshit.... the law/Goverment..EVERYONE who is higher then us are basically running our lifes and theres nothing we can do about it and if we do something about it then our chances are we will end up inside..
