I've got a CDJ800 and a lovely piece of kit it is too. Problem is that I lent it out to some mates who were putting on a night the other day and now the loop buttons are sticking down which means that I can't get it to go on to vinyl mode or cue up at all. Any ideas how I could get the buttons unstuck? Question

how easy is it to take the cover off? i guess u just need to get the cover off n gently caress ( Shocked ) the offending buttons. either that or get a small but very thin instrument (not a trumpet for a mouse) and coax the buttons out gently by sticking such small thin bit of something down the side of the buttons. if you take the cover off be careful as any sign of tampering will invalidate your warranty. Either that or turn up at your mates house with some massive mean lookin bloke and extract 'compensation'. Team work prevails and having borrwed your decks for their use some kinda help, physical or financial is a fair way to play the game.

good luck with whatever you do Very Happy

probably got some beer on them and they are jammed with stickiness (sugar). Have you tried wiping and depressing with a damp cloth? Or maybe isopropanol? (But be careful not to dmamge with use of these liquids)

If its not a beer / softdrink issue - then your mates must have abused the buttons and jammed them....that will need cover off or some such. As Kalaish says - beware of voiding your warranty.

Either way these mates should be the ones to cough up for any: repairs / cleaning / damage done during attempted repair or cleaning / replacement - I would say.

good luck

That was def. caused by some beer polution!! I'd try and take the cover off the top and then you could possibly clean it. Good luck with that!!

I took it apart and put it back together again. It was like the rubber button had become forced against the top part of the case so it all works fin noe. Very Happy
